A Father who is our Provider Protector.

A Brother who is our Saviour Redeemer.

A Spirit who is our Cleanser Sanctifier.

Do you appreciate the gift of God Himself,

Coming to us as an almighty Trinity,

All powerful in love and mercy?

“This is the day the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalm 118 v 24)

Do you know God as the source of all holiness,

Giving rise to hope, to peace, to joy

In all the blessed fullness of godliness?

What goodness is gifted us

According to the merciful † of forgiveness.

It is the sacrificial death of Jesus’ holiness

Which opens the way to heaven for us in His resurrection.

“The LORD has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek’.” (Psalm 110 v 4)

“Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through them, and I will praise the LORD. This is the gate of the LORD, through which the righteous shall enter.” (Psalm 118 v 19, 20)

“I will praise You, for You have answered me and have become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” (Psalm 118 v 21, 22, 23) So let us pray. Amen.
